NextSpace is an 11,000 square foot coworking + innovation space located in downtown Santa Cruz. We accomplish this mission by selling membership to NextSpace to entrepreneurs, freelancers, independent consultants, and small businesses. Internship Description
This intern will report directly to NextSpace’s chief operating officer and will assist with the day-to-day running of NextSpace. We’ll expect him/her to become familiar with what makes NextSpace tick. This includes servicing members, helping with events, and (yup!) making coffee. More important, we’ll expect him/her to dive into NextSpace’s business model and make suggestions and recommendations for how we can better manage our community, run our business, and serve our members. Hopefully, this intern will offer a fresh perspective on NextSpace and prevent us becoming crusty and/or curmudgeonly.
Both of our interns will be expected to spend part of their time helping us solve “The Mystery of the Missing Tiger Pants” (details will be provided on your first day).
