Internship Description

Assist Ketera’s product management team with market analysis. Projects will include detailed, web-based cross-comparison analysis of competitor’s offerings against Ketera’s, market size estimation, and market positioning/messaging analysis. Part time OK. Some consultation hours onsite at our San Jose (Santana Row) offices are required but potentially some work could be done offsite. Internship will give you a solid sense of the huge spend management huge market, who the players are, what potential job opportunities there are with Ketera or other local vendors, and some market analysis experience you can put on your resume. You will also have an opportunity to work with a world-class product management team defining a cutting edge business product line, and will get a sense of SaaS product development life cycles. Requirements: reasonable basis in micro and macro economics. Reasonable sense of business purchasing processes (workflow for invoices, purchase orders, terms-based payment). Power user skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
